Many of Seattle, WA’s local clubs are growing their popularity by simply exchanging one night of the week for the popular culture of Electronic Dance Music.
Every Wednesday, Club Volume which is based in the heart of Seattle hosts an EDM event with some of the hottest DJs from around the Emerald City. It takes a lot of courage to spin for a crowd with the expectations of some good, pure fun. However, these DJs know their stuff and has brought increasing popularity to the club’s reputation.
Club Volume used to only reserve Sunday night’s for their 18+ crowd. However, since their most recent EDM implementation, Wednesdays have become a hot spot for the 18+ crowd to hang out as well. Last Wednesday, DJ Martin Solveig with his radio hit single “Night Out“, paid a visit to the club. Promotions and banners posted on Facebook brought great attention upon the nightlife.
Aside from Club Volume’s latest Wednesday night hits, USC Events has an upcoming music festival themed around Halloween to allow its attendees to be creative with their costumes. This is the first year that the Freaknight festival has sold out, similar to the outcome of Insomniac’s EDC Las Vegas 2012 attendance.
These sold out shows and stadiums are only examples of how popular this culture of music is becoming.
